Kella woke up. It was still dark outside her window and for a moment she forgot where she was. Then all the memories came rushing back to her. The thought of her father possibly being unsafe, the boy from her childhood and everything else that happened the day before. Kella packed up her things and left the room close to spotless. She got Midnight ready and rode of into the distance, trying to make up time from her nap the previous day. By the time the sun came up Kella was ages away. Kella laid peacefully under a tree as she ate the lunch she had packed for herself. Midnight stood nearby eating the food Kella placed on the ground for her. It was sunny but the leaves and the branches stopped most of the sun rays getting through. Kella finished her lunch and packed all of her stuff back into her bag. Midnight was still eating so she decided to take a nap. If her journey home took more than three days she could always stop in at a village and buy some food even though she didn't have much money with her.
